We offer a wishlist function, however you do not need a wishlist or customer account to start shopping. Creating a wishlist and account prior to the sale can be used to speed up your checkout time though.
You can add directly from your wishlist to your cart rather than have to navigate to every tuber you are wanting. You can also pre fill your address details in your account so when you checkout, providing you are logged into your account, you will not need to re-enter them at checkout.
The majority of our tubers are limited to 1 per ORDER, it will be noted in the description if you can purchase more than one, but if it does not say anything about limits, it is set to 1 per order.
This does mean that there is a chance you can get 2 or more of some of the rarer tubers if you can checkout and then get another one in your cart before they’re all gone.
When you add a tuber to your cart, a 20 minute timer will start, this is the total time you have to add items to your cart and checkout. If you think you will run out of time, checkout with what you have in your cart, then complete another order as we combine all orders.
It is for this reason we highly recommend creating a wishlist and adding directly from it so you are not delayed when the website may be slow to load during the main sale. You can select ‘Add all to cart’ from your wishlist, it will add whatever is available and show a message at the top of the page as to what was not able to be added if any.
We offer standard and express post options; the pricing is set out in our FAQ page and on the product FAQ section.
Free local pickup options will be available in Toowoomba area or at our Ravensbourne farm. If you choose local pickup, but are not local, we will contact you to process a shipping cost before we send your order.
We do combine orders, no matter how many you have. When you place any subsequent orders, if you are unsure about whether more postage will be due, select local pickup and we will contact you to arrange payment for any extra postage if there is any.
If you miss out on a dahlia tuber, please put a comment on your order (there is a box at the bottom of the page where you put your address in during checkout), and we will let you know if we can supply it if we end up with more available.
You can also leave that tuber in your wishlist, and you will be sent an email if more of them become available.
Payment methods are Credit/Debit card, Afterpay and Bank Deposit.
If you choose bank deposit, you will see our bank details on the order confirmation page, and you will be sent an email with them as well. We have strict terms of 3 business days for payment otherwise your order will be cancelled. You can contact us if there are issues, or you do need more time to pay but we do not guarantee being able to extend these terms.
During our main sale, Laiza monitors all of the orders in case there are any problems. We have had some issues with our payment gateway causing payments to fail. If Laiza sees this, she will manually place your order on ‘Stock Reserve’ and contact you via email. You will receive an email when she does this, which does explain what has happened. Your items will remain allocated to you if this happens, so you will not miss out.
There have also been some cases of Afterpay orders appearing to fail, but they have not. If you are unsure about your Afterpay order processing, please check your email to see if you have received an email from Afterpay confirming the order, or check your Afterpay account for the order, before placing subsequent orders. Whilst we hope this won’t be an issue, when it has happened, Afterpay have not been able to pinpoint why it happened. Once again, Laiza will be monitoring all orders during the main sale and will take action if need be to secure your order for you.
